Covento A/S, Hedeager 42, 8200 Aarhus N, reg. no. 43186655 (“Covento”, “we”, “us”, “our”) will as data controller collect and process personal data about you for the purpose of onboarding and use of the platform. Below you will find a description of the personal data, which we will collect and process about you as well as the purpose and on which basis we are processing the personal data.
1 Types of personal data that we collect and process and legal basis
1.1 Contact persons at Covento supplier.
Covento collects and processes personal data about you as a contact person for your employer, who acts as a supplier on the Covento platform for the purpose of onboarding your employer on the Covento platform. For this, Covento pursues a legitimate interest, cf. Article 6.1(f) of the GDPR and it is assessed that Covento’s interest in processing the personal data overrides your interests.
Covento collects and processes the following personal data about you for the above purposes:
(a) Name
(b) Email address and phone number
(c) Title and workplace
(d) Password
2 How we process your personal data
2.1 Your personal data will be accessed by Covento’s employees and our third party service providers and/or other group companies on a need to know basis only.
2.2 Covento will generally not disclose the data to third parties, however, we will transfer your personal data to our third party service providers, and/or other group companies that are established outside of the EU/EEA on a need-to basis as required to provide the Covento platform. When our third party service providers and/or other group companies process your personal data outside of the EU/EEA, such transfer of personal data will either be subject to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can request a copy of the agreement covering the transfer of personal data by sending an e-mail to supplier-support@covento.com.
2.3 Covento will keep your personal data for as long as is needed to fulfill our purposes of processing but no longer than 12 months after off-boarding from the platform, unless Covento is required under applicable law to keep your personal data for a longer period.
3 Your rights
3.1 The right to information and access. You have the right to ask us for information about or access to your personal information. There are some exemptions, which means you may not always receive all the information we process.
3.2 The right to object. You have the right to object to Covento processing (using) your personal data. This effectively means that you can stop or prevent us from using your data. However, it only applies in certain circumstances, and we may not need to stop the processing of your personal data if we can give legitimate reasons to continue using your personal
